VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, engaging young people, parents and teachers via public information points and event-based activities. The Vienna effort is led by Gabriele Toker, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to present clear information on commonly abused substances, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, often cited as eu news politics Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug. According to organisers, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools.
